Bailey Power Plant - The Bailey Power Plant project is underway. Approval for specific, exterior demolition project.
CDI- The South District will be the new home for the Center for Design Innovation project that will begin in Summer 2012.
Norfolk Southern Railroad - The railroad relocation begun in 2001 to realign rail traffic through PTRP to allow for development of the Central District by consolidating the previous rail lines. A rail bridge was built in 2009 to allow for the construction of Research Parkway, a vital link between all three districts of the Park.
Research Park Boulevard - The Research Park Boulevard is the spine of the research park joining the three districts. This north-south corridor responds to the topography of the park linking downtown Winston-Salem to the Salem Creek Connector. The first phase of the parkway to be constructed is approximately 4,850 linear feet of a four lane, median divided road with street trees and decorative lighting beginning at Stadium Drive and ending at Third Street crossing beneath the existing railroad and Business I-40.
Storm Water Management - Storm Water Management is a project in partnership with the City of Winston-Salem to treat storm water runoff generated by approximately 300 acres of central Winston-Salem.
Streetwork - North District Infrastructure will serve to transform the neighborhood formallyutilized from tobacco manufacturing. It will create a urban-friendly streetscape environment including a green park for the use of area tenants and residents.
