PIEDMONT TRIAD RESEARCH PARK
Where Innovation Lives

Piedmont Triad Research Park (PTRP) offers "agents of change" a research park/city concept and sustainable development through innovation. Anchored by our first tenant, the Wake Forest School of Medicine's Department of Physiology and Pharmacology establishes the Park as an important center for scientific inquiry. Positioned in a high growth environment, the Research Park expansion plans provide opportunities to advance research programs by increasing awareness and accelerating commercial applications.

It's no secret what resources a research park needs to be successful: university affiliation, access to venture capital, and current future physical space for growth. But perhaps more importantly, it is the life outside the lab makes all the difference. The city of Winston-Salem nurtures intellectual and business opportunities, stimulating its residents' creativity and their visions for the future.
